I was in the first group of recovering addict to attend Mcalisters Institute. I watched as the program developed into a very well structured and educational program for those in addiction. Even though I was only there for a total of 72 days, I thank this program for my recovery and learned how to turn my life around for the first time in 45 years. I now have almost 15 months clean and sober and I love my life each and everyday. Thank You Mcalister Institute.

givven there are good staff that actually care on campus.i can not be to harsh in my review. But strongly suggest that more staff be present at all hours. Havving male and female patients all stuffed in one common living area leads to major distractions, harassment ect. understanding that learning to be social once drug free is imparitiave to recovery. But with just one night staff member availible durring night hours is in my opinion a bad idea. other than that i know quite a few people who have turned their lifes around inside McAlister and am glad there is such a place locally that offers addicts a place to go.
